Eighteen lawyers have been promoted into senior positions at Dentons, including three to partner, effective from 1 July.

Commenting on the promotion round, Australia chair Amber Warren offered a “huge congratulations” to the new senior lawyers.

“They each make a significant contribution to client service and the development of others,” Warren said.

Kurt Tian from Melbourne’s corporate team was promoted to partner, as was Ryan Lennon and Tamara Stack from the Perth-based recovery and restructuring practice.

The new managing associates are Ben Kelly and Simon Tribble from the recovery and restructuring team, Jennifer Moran and Joshua Schultz from the employment and safety team, and Naomi Hatcher from the dispute resolution practice.

Alyssa Smirnov from the real estate practice was elevated to senior associate, as was the dispute resolution team’s Tiana Podinic.

Joining them are Eleni Tambassis, Ian Ahn, and Sarah Kobelt from the banking and finance team, and Elliott Sarre and Peter Divitcos from the intellectual property and technology practice.

John Koutsodontis from the recovery and restructuring team was also promoted to senior associate, alongside Peter Watkins and Samuel Beer from the employment and safety team.

“At Dentons, we offer a number of ways for lawyers to progress in their career, including dedicated training and professional development for every level of lawyer, mentoring and secondments.

“I am delighted we can support so many people in achieving the next step in their careers,” Warren said.
