HPX Group promotes 26, including 3 partners

HPX Group, parent company of international law firm Hamilton Locke, has promoted 26 to more senior positions, including three to the Hamilton Locke partnership.

HPX Group has promoted 26 staff within Hamilton Locke and sister companies Source and Helios Salinger.

Three partners, four special counsel and seven senior associates have been promoted at the firm. At Source, 12 have been elevated across the business.

 
 

This news comes after Hamilton Locke added a property partner in Brisbane last month, named a new deputy managing partner in May this year and added a new partner in Perth in February. The firm also added five new partners from BigLaw rivals in February and elevated 11 professionals to more senior roles in late January across both Hamilton Locke and Source. Source also added a new CEO in March.

Speaking about the new promotions, CEO Nick Humphrey said: “We have incredibly talented people across all aspects of our business, which is reflected in these promotions. We congratulate each of them on this professional and personal milestone – we’re proud to have them as part of our team.”

The new partners at the firm are Roxanne Fisch (safety, Sydney), Monty Loughlin (finance, Sydney) and Adriaan van der Merwe (new energy, Sydney).

Grania Clark (real estate, Auckland), Julie Hartley (funds and financial services, Sydney, Emily Pendlebury (litigation, Perth) and Janice Yew (IP and technology, Melbourne) have all been promoted to special counsel.

The following have also been promoted to senior associate: George Comino, Anya Gleichmann (consultant, admitted to practice in Ireland), Molly Kemp, Minji Kim, Ho Yan Ko, Tim McAlpine-Scott (consultant, admitted to practice in Scotland) and Rachel Stower.

Within the governance, risk and compliance team at Source, Lisa Dadswell has been promoted to managing director, Stephanie So to managing company secretary, Michaela Stanton-Cook to senior company secretary, and Bryan Moss to compliance manager.

Tobey Knight, Lisa Sanders and Katrina Emmerick have all been promoted in the HR and workplace team, and Fiona Yiend, Jelena Milanovic and Erin Tanner have been elevated to more senior positions within the commercial legal and IP team, with Lara Jago promoted to head of business operations in the Source corporate services team.

At Helios Salinger, Emily McGufficke has been promoted to director – privacy.
