Of the almost 230 lawyers promoted across DLA Piper’s global offices, nine senior associates and six special counsel were Australian.
DLA Piper has elevated 15 senior lawyers across its four Australian offices as part of its global promotion round.
Australian managing partner Shane Bilardi said the promotions reflected the depth of talent at the firm, “and acknowledges the exceptional contribution and dedication each individual brings to our clients and our culture”.
The special counsel are Anna Crosby and Nicole Breschkin from the litigation and regulatory practice, Matthew Nowotny-Walsh from the corporate team, Winnie Liang from real estate, and Matthew Roberts and Victoria Brockhall from the finance practice.
Of the new senior associates, Andrew Coughlin, Ashvin Sandra Segaran, Claudia Levings, Emily Pettersson, and Gigi Lockhart are from DLA Piper’s litigation and regulatory practice.
Chris Maibom and Hugh Raisin were promoted to senior associate in the employment team, and Giacomo Bell and Julia Krapeshlis from the corporate practice.
“I congratulate all our recent promotions and thank them for the outstanding contributions they make to our firm and the meaningful impact they create for our clients every day,” Bilardi said.
