Principal lawyers through to paralegals were elevated across the AF Legal Group (ASX: AFL) in its latest promotion round.

CEO Chris McFadden said the promotions reflect the group’s commitment “to ensuring the wellbeing and development” of staff.

“We are immensely proud of our team’s exceptional work and their contributions to making AF Legal one of the most innovative and professional legal services groups in the country,” McFadden said.

Within Australian Family Lawyers – the biggest of the five under the AF umbrella – Portia Winkler was elevated to principal lawyer, and Charlotte Wilkin and Sandy Lin were promoted to senior associate.

Alongside the senior lawyers, Lauren Biniares and Samuel Warren were promoted to associate, Claudia Hazell and Chene Delport moved into a senior solicitor position, Michael Sheahan was made law graduate, and Hannah White and Emma Exon were promoted to paralegal.

At Watts McCray Lawyers, Laura Lincoln was promoted to deputy practice leader, while Ruby Abott-Monnox moved to associate.

Erika Kingston was promoted to senior solicitor, and Erin O’Hanlon and Julio Leon-Rios were elevated to senior paralegal at Watts McCray.

Jodie Hall moved to senior associate at Armstrong Legal Lawyers, alongside Genevieve Krienke and Harry Dunk to solicitor.

In addition to the solicitor promotions, Hollie Walker was promoted to senior pre-legal consultant, and Melody Halangoda was promoted to senior marketing and communications executive at AF Legal Group.

McFadden said the group “pulled together a cross-practice team” to review promotions, “in keeping with our ethos of practice-led management”. It is made up of senior leaders nationally.

“We wish to congratulate our talented staff and hope they continue to achieve greater heights in their careers with our backing.

“It is inspiring to see such great progress in our team, and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for them,” McFadden said.
