Piper Alderman has appointed an experienced commercial litigator as a partner in its dispute resolution and litigation practice.
Effective 7 October, Hannah Brown joined Piper Alderman’s Sydney office, where she will collaborate with the wider dispute resolution and litigation team to strengthen its litigation offering.
Brown said she was excited to join a team that was “renowned nationwide not only for its experience and outstanding track record in handling complex matters and market-leading cases”.
“I look forward to contributing to the ongoing success of a team I have already been fortunate enough to work closely with and greatly respect,” Brown said.
Brown brings experience in managing high-value and complex matters before federal and state supreme courts.
Having qualified in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Australia, Brown has experience that spans a broad range of legal areas, industries, and jurisdictions.
She has represented ASX-listed companies, major financial institutions, government bodies, property developers, construction companies and individual clients.
The firm said she also brings specialist expertise working with litigation funders on plaintiff-led class actions.
