AI-powered and personalised legal drafting solution, Lexis Create+, has transformed how lawyers create complex legal documents directly with Microsoft 365, allowing for higher-quality, fast and accurate results.
The new tool has integrated cutting-edge agentic AI, LexisNexis legal research content and shared internal knowledge into Microsoft 365.
Keren Smith, chief knowledge officer at Holding Redlich, said the firm was excited to “unlock the time-saving efficiencies of Lexis Create+ to elevate both our internal workflows and the quality of service we deliver to clients”.
“Following the successful onboarding of our power users, we will roll out comprehensive training to all practitioners, focusing on precision prompting and rigorous fact-checking techniques,” Smith said.
Key features of Lexis Create+ include proprietary technology that links internal documents and clauses to drafting workflows to make it easy to find and reuse past clauses and definitions. It connects with iManage, SharePoint, Google Docs, and other document management systems.
Lawyers can also access LexisNexis content they subscribe to, draft high-quality documents with Lexis+ AI generative capabilities, receive precise answers to legal queries, and use advanced encryption, permission monitoring, and robust controls to ensure data privacy and compliance.
Through integration with the newly released Lexis+ AI assistant Protégé, Lexis Create+ delivers an embedded experience in MS Word for research, drafting and refinement to streamline the entire document life cyle.
It also incorporates capabilities from Henchman for advanced proofreading and clause management tools.
Katy Fixter, LexisNexis Asia-Pacific managing director, said they were proud to partner with a leading Australian law firm “recognised for its specialist expertise and commitment to innovation”.
