Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has named 51 new partners worldwide, six of whom are based Down Under.
Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) has added 51 lawyers to its partnership globally, with the new appointees spanning 12 of the firm’s practice areas, including litigation and disputes, corporate, M&A, and securities, banking and finance, intellectual property, antitrust and competition, cyber security, and data privacy.
The new partners come from 22 of the firm’s 53 offices globally, with the majority coming from the US, Canada, and the UK.
Six Australians make up the new class of partners: Adele Gray (banking and finance, Melbourne), Fridoun Chee (corporate, M&A and securities, Sydney), Jiadi Liang and Veronica Seeto (government, Canberra), Daniel Posker (intellectual property, Sydney), and Jeremy Moller (risk advisory, Sydney).
The promotions are effective as of 1 January 2026.
The news follows the integration of NRF Australia with the global firm’s Europe, Middle East, and Asia operations in June, and its promotion of 47 lawyers to more senior positions in Asia-Pacific in July.
Speaking about the promotions, NRF global managing partner and US managing partner Jeff Cody said: “Growing our partnership continues to be an important focus for the firm. These individuals have demonstrated exceptional client focus, technical excellence, and a genuine commitment to collaboration across our global platform.
“We’re proud to welcome them to the partnership and look forward to the impact they will continue to make.”
And the firm’s global managing partner and EMEA and APAC managing partner, Peter Scott, said: “Our clients rely on us to deliver seamless, high-quality service wherever they operate, and this new partner class reflects the breadth and depth of talent that underpins that promise.
“Each of our new partners has earned this milestone through outstanding work and dedication to the firm. Congratulations to all of them on this achievement.”
