Independent firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth has appointed a new partner to its competition team.
Corrs Chambers Westgarth’s newest partner, Eloise Morgan, is highly experienced in advising clients on a range of competition law matters.
This experience includes merger control, regulatory investigations and general competition and consumer law compliance.
Morgan has been involved in several high-profile merger cases before the UK and EU competition authorities and has advised on a number of cartel investigations.
Corrs senior partner and CEO Gavin MacLaren said: “Eloise’s domestic and international experience positions her well to help our clients navigate increased regulatory scrutiny and achieve their strategic objectives.
“In particular, her recent experience of the mandatory merger regimes in Europe will be valuable, given the new merger regime in Australia.”
Morgan’s key deals include advising Booking Holdings on its proposed $1.5 billion acquisition of eTraveli Group, advising Meta on its $1 billion acquisition of Kustomer, and advising The Stars Group on its $10 billion global merger with Flutter Entertainment.
“We are delighted to welcome Eloise to the partnership,” MacLaren said.
