Hicksons | Hunt & Hunt | Holman Webb promoted Serena Bentley, Kali McCoy, and Tyrone Walker to partner, along with two special counsel, four senior associates, and nine associates.

Bentley advises insurers and employers on statutory claims, work injury damages and recovery matters, with particular expertise in psychiatric injuries and coal mining industry claims.

McCoy has extensive experience in complex litigated and non-litigated statutory multi-party claims. Her promotion was finalised while on maternity leave, the firm shared.

Walker is an intellectual property lawyer advising national and multinational clients on strategic IP protection and complex disputes, and he operates within a strong international practice.

This round of promotions has brought the total number of partners to 46, with women representing half of the partnership.

The new special counsel are personal injury lawyer Jacklyn Dooley and workers’ compensation expert Natasa Wigham.

Managing partner Cameron Leaver said the number of promotions is a testament to the firm’s strong performance and the calibre of its people.

“These promotions showcase the growth and momentum we are seeing across the firm,” Leaver said.

“As Hicksons | Hunt & Hunt | Holman Webb continues to build a broader, stronger platform for our clients and our people, we are investing in the next generation of leaders who will help shape the firm’s future.

“We are proud to recognise the talent, commitment and leadership of our promoted lawyers, and to support their continued development as the firm enters its next phase of growth.”
