Global law firm DLA Piper has celebrated the strength of its internal talent, elevating 11 legal and business professionals across its Australian offices.
DLA Piper has celebrated talent from across its national network, unveiling a firm-wide promotion round that has elevated 11 professionals across its Australian offices.
In a statement, the firm said the appointments recognise the outstanding contributions these professionals have made to their clients, their teams, and the firm’s continued success.
As part of the latest round, the global law firm has promoted three lawyers to special counsel and six to senior associate.
Those elevated span across five of DLA Piper’s practice areas, including corporate, finance, real estate, tax, and litigation and regulatory.
Beyond its legal practice groups, the firm also recognised the contributions of its business advisory team, promoting two professionals to senior manager.
The promotions form part of a wider global cohort of 199 senior lawyer promotions across 21 countries.
Speaking about the appointments, DLA Piper’s Australia country managing partner, Shane Bilardi, said the promotions reflect the significant role these lawyers have played in strengthening client relationships, driving the firm’s growth, and positioning it for the future.
“Our senior lawyers are critical to the growth and success of DLA Piper, playing a central role in supporting our clients, building relationships, and strengthening our presence in the market,” Bilardi said.
“Many of those promoted have developed their careers at DLA Piper, and all will continue to shape our future leadership.”
Joining the firm’s special counsel ranks are Ann Marie Coleman (corporate), Elizabeth Campbell (corporate), and Louise Holland (finance).
The new senior associates include Abhi Ravishankar (corporate), Dylan Somers (real estate), Harry Cross (litigation and regulatory), Joshua Scoles (finance), Kevin Shih (tax), and Larry Fong (corporate).
