Belinda Harvey has advised domestic and international clients on complex merger clearances, competition law compliance, regulatory investigations, foreign investment approvals, and strategic commercial transactions.

Her experience includes advising clients in the consumer and retail, pharmaceutical, financial services, technology, manufacturing, energy and infrastructure sectors.

Addisons managing partner Robert Kerr said he was “thrilled to welcome Belinda to Addisons”.

“Her appointment further strengthens our support to clients navigating an increasingly complex regulatory environment, particularly Australia’s evolving merger control regime and heightened regulatory scrutiny across a range of sectors,” he said.

Harvey has regularly advised on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions, including competitive takeovers and a range of significant competition clearance matters across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

In her new role at Addisons, Harvey will work closely with competition law partner Laura Hartley and the broader M&A team.

“I am excited to be joining Addisons at a time of significant change in Australia’s competition and regulatory landscape.

“Addisons has a strong reputation for delivering commercial, partner-led advice and building long-term client relationships.

“I look forward to working with the firm’s clients and talented team,” Harvey said.
