Insurance law partners Matt Huckerby, Holly Ulmer, and Lucy Munro, and consultant Mark Brothers, have joined Mills Oakley, along with one senior associate, three associates, three lawyers, one paralegal, and three legal assistants.

Working closely with partners and lawyers across Mills Oakley’s national platform, the team will assist with enhancing the firm’s insurance capability and its ability to support insurers, underwriters, brokers, government agencies and corporate clients.

Reflecting on the increasingly complex insurance and risk environment, CEO John Nerurker said the appointments would reinforce Mills Oakley’s ability to support clients.

“Matt, Holly, Lucy and Mark have built an outstanding reputation in the insurance market and, together with their team, bring deep expertise across a broad range of personal injury, liability and statutory insurance matters,” Nerurker said.

“Their appointment significantly enhances our ability to support insurers, government agencies and corporate clients on complex claims and disputes across Australia.”

Huckerby said he and the team were excited to join Mills Oakley.

“We are delighted to join Mills Oakley and become part of a firm that has established a strong reputation for client service, collaboration and commercial excellence,” Huckerby said.
