Shine Lawyers chief legal officer has celebrated the talent, commitment, and leadership of its 44 newly elevated lawyers.
Lawyers were promoted across six of Shine’s practice areas, including 19 from personal injury, 10 in the class actions space, four from abuse law, three in medical law and two in military law.
Six promotions were also made at Bradley Bayly Legal.
Chief legal officer Lisa Flynn said Shine Lawyer’s annual promotions continue to recognise “talented lawyers who consistently deliver outstanding outcomes for clients while contributing to the strength and success of our firm”.
“These appointments are an important way we invest in the future of Shine, recognising lawyers who demonstrate exceptional expertise, leadership, and commitment to our purpose.
“We are proud to recognise lawyers who stand up for the wronged, amplify the voices of those who might otherwise go unheard, and work tirelessly to deliver access to justice for their clients.”
Sixteen were promoted into the role of associate, 10 to senior associate, and eight to special counsel.
A number of the elevated lawyers hold dual roles, including three as a practice leader/special counsel and three who hold the position of legal practice manager/senior associate.
Sixteen are Queensland-based, followed by 10 in NSW, eight in Victoria, seven in Western Australia, one in South Australia, and three in New Zealand.
“Our people are courageous, tenacious and deeply committed to making a difference,” Flynn said.
“Time and again, they take on complex and challenging matters, achieving meaningful outcomes for the people and communities they serve.
“As we look to the future, we are focused on building a strong pipeline of legal talent that will continue to lead, innovate and create new pathways to justice.”
The promotions are effective 1 October.
