Alexander Ware joins Roberts Crosbie Mortensen Lawyers after three years with Maddocks’ construction and projects team, and stints prior to that with Dentons, Coleman Greig Lawyers, and TPS&Co Lawyers.

His experience spans complex commercial, construction, insolvency and property disputes, including contractual claims, shareholder and director disputes, corporate governance, insolvency-related claims, professional negligence, and misleading and deceptive conduct.

Managing partner Sam Roberts said Ware’s appointment was an important step in the development of the firm’s Sydney practice.

“Alexander brings significant commercial litigation and construction disputes experience together with a practical understanding of the commercial issues facing businesses and their owners.

“His appointment adds further senior capability to our Sydney office and gives us experienced leadership as we continue to grow our commercial litigation team,” Roberts said.

Ware has represented clients in proceedings before the Supreme Court of NSW, Federal Court of Australia, NSW Court of Appeal, High Court of Australia, Land and Environment Court, and the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT).

His experience also includes matters involving security of payment, defective works, contractor insolvency, contractual disputes, arbitration, and major infrastructure projects.

Ware said he was excited to join Roberts Crosbie Mortensen.

“The firm’s specialist focus and practical approach to resolving complex business disputes strongly align with the way I practise.

“I look forward to helping grow the Sydney practice and supporting clients through significant commercial disputes,” Ware said.
