Baker & McKenzie has advised the world's largest listed metals and electronics recycler on its first major step into Asia.

Deal: ASX and NYSE-listed Sims announced its 20 per cent strategic investment in Chinese recycling company, Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed Chiho-Tiande Group

Key players: The Bakers team was led by Sydney partner David Holland and Hong Kong partners David Fleming and Dorothea Koo.

Deal significance: Sims isthe world's largest listed metals and electronics recycler and is recognised as one of the world's most sustainable companies. "This deal has enabled Sims to increase its exposure to recycling markets in China," said Holland.
