Attending seminars and conferences, and/or completing further study such as a Masters of Law, Graduate Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice or the Company Director's Course will not only help you to further develop and broaden your skills, but also your network.
Membership of the various professional organisations, such as the Law Institute, Young Lawyers and the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association will also assist. You should attend industry functions organised by these professional organisations as a way of maintaining your network and establishing new relationships.
