AMP confirms GC, company secretary shake-up

AMP Limited has appointed a new general counsel, corporate and governance and group company secretary, effective immediately.

Marissa Bendyk has taken to the role, reporting to the group general counsel. Prior to her new role, Ms Bendyk worked at APA Group and King & Wood Mallesons.

According to a statement from AMP, Ms Bendyk brings a wealth of experience in the legal profession, having advised on matters concerning corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law.

“Following this appointment, David Cullen, AMP’s group general counsel, will cease to hold the role of company secretary of AMP Limited, effective 6 May 2019,” it noted.
