New GC named at Arch Insurance
Arch Insurance International has appointed a new general counsel.

Silvia Martinez has been named the group’s new general counsel, effective immediately. Her new role will see her based in London and report to chief administrative officer Kirsten Valder.

Ms Martinez brings more than 10 years of experience to Arch Insurance, having worked in both private practice and in in-house roles. Prior to joining the company, Martinez worked for Aspen Insurance Group, where she was group general counsel and company secretary, and a member of the Group Executive Committee.
Throughout her career, Ms Martinez has built up significant corporate governance knowledge and expertise overseeing complex corporate and capital market transactions.
Ms Valder said Ms Martinez is a valuable addition to the team.
