Commercial law firm Thomson Playford has announced that Adrian Tembel has taken over as head of its national corporate practice group.
As leader of a group of 47 lawyers, Tembel will work with other key partners to provide legal services to established and emerging businesses across Australia.
Tembel has been a partner at Thomson Playford since 1997, having begun with the firm in 1992. He specialises in corporate and commercial advice and transactions, primarily in the life sciences, information technology and telecommunications and media sectors.
Chief executive, Brett Goodridge, said the corporate practice group was a key growth driver for the firm, especially considering increasing numbers of businesses are seeking the group’s assistance with complex and challenging legal requirements.
“We are very pleased to have someone of Adrian’s energy and calibre leading our highly respected and expanding national corporate practice group, whose members are all recognised as leaders in their respective fields of expertise,” Goodridge said.
