Norman Waterhouse has appointed Paul St Leger Kelly to the position of senior associate from within the firm and, from outside the firm, Kirsten Allen to associate in the firm’s Adelaide local government team. Paul Kelly joined Norman Waterhouse in 2000 and has been a central figure in the local government team. Allen joins the firm from Victoria Chambers, where she was employed as a law clerk for barrister David Greenwell and retained counsel for the Local Government Association, Mutual Liability Scheme.

 
 

Cridlands has appointed Cherrie Homer and Cameron Ford as senior associates. Homer is based in Cridlands’ Sydney office and her commercial litigation practice focuses on the banking and finance sector and insolvency matters. Ford, also in commercial litigation, is based in Cridlands Darwin office and is well recognised for his dispute resolution expertise, particularly relating to the building and construction industry.

Blake Dawson Waldron has appointed Ken Ramsay as a partner in its health law practice in Sydney. He was formerly head of Deacons national health focus group. Ramsay specialises in commercial contracts between the public and private sectors, privately funded public sector infrastructure projects and medico-legal regulatory advice. He is a member of the Australian Healthcare Association and the Health Services Association of NSW.

Rebecca Crosby and Liam McCusker recently commenced with DMAW Lawyers. Crosby has joined the firm’s commercial transactional and franchising team and McCusker will be working with the commercial dispute resolution team.

Pia Turcinov has joined Talbot & Olivier Solicitors in the newly created position of business development manager. She will work closely with the partners on a range of strategic marketing and business development initiatives. Turcinov is a qualified commercial lawyer. Her legal experience includes a period with Allen Allen & Hemsley Solicitors in Sydney, Freehills Project Solutions and more recently, Feinauer Commercial Lawyers in Perth.
