Lake Resources names new head of legal
Listed lithium developer Lake Resources (ASX: LKE) has appointed an experienced GC and former Holding Redlich partner as its new head of legal and company secretary in Australia.
Mark Anning — who has previously served as general counsel and company secretary at Ellume, Tritium, and Vita Group Limited — has been named as Lake’s newest GC and co sec.

His three decades in legal and corporate practice, the listed company said in a market announcement, “has seen him specialise in corporate and commercial law, dispute resolution, risk management, and corporate governance”.
Speaking about the appointment, Lake chief executive and managing director David Dickson said: “We continue to strengthen the bench of talent with internationally recognised executives and board members as we pursue the tremendous opportunity, we have to set a new global standard for producing cleaner, high-purity lithium at speed and scale.
“The addition of Mark Anning brings significant expertise and experience and will be a critical partner in support of our initiatives to grow and strengthen the company.”
Mr Anning’s appointment is effective as of 9 January 2023.
In the same market announcement, Lake named a new non-executive chairman for its board of directors, Stu Crow.
