She brings with her nearly two decades of experience as a lawyer working with ASX-listed energy and resources companies, Andromeda noted, with “extensive” knowledge of the industry and regulatory environment.
Ms Clarke was also an elected councillor of the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy (SACOME) from 2018 to 2022.
She has been appointed co sec, effective 16 January, but for the purposes of an orderly transition, the incumbent, Andrea Betti, will remain in place as joint co sec until the end of the month.
Speaking about the appointment, Andromeda’s managing director James Marsh said: “We welcome Sarah to Andromeda and are pleased that someone of such a high calibre will expand the leadership capability of our team.
“With Andromeda expanding our marketing efforts and moving rapidly towards a final investment decision, Sarah’s professional knowledge and experience in transactional, commercial contracts, advisory and compliance strongly positions us for success.
“We also thank Andrea for her tireless work, support and guidance provided to Andromeda over the last 18 months, and wish her well in her future endeavours.”
