Prior to her role at Shift, she was general counsel and company secretary at Nano Digital Home Loans, director of legal at PayPal and senior manager of legal at Macquarie Group.

Speaking about the appointment, Shift chief executive Jamie Osborn said that Ms Olliver’s experience in legal, governance, and risk management across financial services comes at an ideal time for Shift.

“Stephanie’s experience navigating legal and regulatory matters in digitally led organisations is a great match for our business,” he said.

“Stephanie is a wonderful addition to the Shift team and will play an important role in helping us scale over the next phase of our growth.”

Ms Olliver added: “As a passionate tech, payments and credit lawyer, I am excited to be part of a technology company that is growing rapidly and providing its business customers with straightforward, digital products that help support their growth.”
