Shelley Nave (pictured) has joined Hunt & Hunt, bringing more than two decades of experience and a wealth of expertise in banking and financial services, as well as regulatory compliance.

Most recently, she served as the head of legal and governance and group company secretary at Beyond Bank Australia. Prior to this, she was the head of legal at OneTwo and senior legal counsel at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.

Two in five (42 per cent) of Hunt & Hunt’s principals are female.

Speaking about the appointment, Hunt & Hunt managing principal Tony Raunic said: “We are thrilled to have Shelley join our team. Like Hunt & Hunt, our financial institution clients constantly focus on enhancing customer experience.

“We believe Shelley’s learnings from years at AFCA and a variety of banks will provide new insight to our clients in this process. Shelley’s client-centric approach and collaborative nature also align perfectly with our firm’s values. We are confident that she will lead our banking and finance team to new heights.”

Nave said: “I am excited to join Hunt & Hunt and lead the banking and finance team. The firm’s commitment to excellence and client service very much aligns with my own professional values. I look forward to working with my new colleagues and contributing to the continued success of the firm.”
