Gadens has recruited Dr William Crane to join its Brisbane property as a special counsel, focussing on planning and environment law.
Crane has more than 10 years' experience as a solicitor, specialising in planning law and commercial litigation.
He has also worked in the energy sector for corporations such as Mobile Oil and British Oxygen Corporation, and has experience in academia, having lectured for many years on planning and environmental law at the University of Queensland.
The firm has also recently recruited a number of solicitors. Bill Rogers has joined the insurance, infrastructure and risk team, having moved across from WorkCover Queensland, where he worked for 12 years. Also joining the insurance, infrastructure and risk team is Kate Linning, who is experienced in worker's compensation insurance and dispute resolution.
Ted Spowart has been appointed to the corporate advisory team, bringing with him experience in commercial law related to energy and resources operations.
