Mallesons has appointed four new special counsels to their mergers and acquisitions, and banking and finance teams.

Christine McIntosh and Helena Busljeta have been appointed as special counsel in the firm's Sydney banking and finance team. McIntosh has over 20 years experience advising a range of financial service institutions, while Busljeta is responsible for drafting and maintaining the firm's banking and finance precedents.

Adam Levine has been appointed as special counsel to the Perth mergers and acquisitions team. He advises the firm's corporate clients and is also the coordinator for the Mallesons in the Community activities for Perth.

Joining the firm's mergers and acquisitions team in London, Joe Newitt has over ten years experience advising clients on foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings and hybrid capital and other fundraisings.

Mallesons chief executive partner Robert Milliner said in a statement: "The appointments recognise the special expertise and responsibility of senior staff in a specific area and acknowledges their clearly defined business role in their team."
