Tresscox Lawyers has this week announced the expansion of its national property team with the addition of two partners, and their respective team members, from Maddocks.

Previously working in Maddocks' Sydney office, partners Christopher Conolly and Martyn Tier have joined the team at Tresscox, bringing extensive experience in all aspects of commercial property law.

Conolly's practice includes development projects for government authorities, retirement villages, planning agreements, commercial sales, acquisitions and leasing and infrastructure projects such as marinas, regional airports, pipelines and wind farms.

Tier brings over 19 years' experience with a specialisation in commercial property, mixed-use strata developments, broadacre residential developments, acquisition and sale of rural properties, hotels and trusts.

Conolly and Tier bring with them two senior associates, Nicola Arvidson and Rola Azzi, as well as a paralegal and secretary.

Tresscox managing partner Peter Smith said the appointments are part of the firm's expansion strategy.

Earlier this year, Tresscox Lawyers snapped up the construction team from Melbourne firm Rigby Cooke Lawyers.
