Blake Dawson has appointed Peter McCullough as a partner in its direct tax practice in Sydney.

McCullough joins the firm after more than 15 years as a partner at global accounting firms Ernst & Young (EY) and Deloitte, where he provided transactional advice to some of the nation's blue chip companies and investment banks.

McCullough specialises in international taxation and has a long history in advising in-bound and out-bound multinationals on Australian tax matters.

As part of EY's transactional tax team, McCullough worked across a wide range of sectors including financial services, manufacturing and retail, defence, property and tourism as well as privatisations and utilities.
