HopgoodGanim partner David Nicholls has been appointed to the position of secretary of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA).

As secretary, Nicholls joins the executive management committee and will work with the chief executive officer and president of the UDIA.

As a partner, Nicholls leads a team of lawyers practising exclusively in the areas of planning, development and environmental law.

The UDIA is a federation of five state associations that aims to promote sustainable urban development.
