Michael Wallin, an Australian corporate lawyer who is currently a partner with Mayer Brown in London, has joined the Minter Ellison London office today (1 November).

As the third partner in Minter Ellison's London office, joining Michael Whalley (corporate and capital markets) and Nigel Clark (finance), the firm said Wallin's appointment extends its capacity to offer real-time Australian legal assistance to clients and law firms throughout the UK and Europe from its London base.

Wallin has experience in corporate finance, private equity, M&A and outsourcing. He served as lead partner of Mayer Brown's China Focus Group in London and will also contribute to the further development of Minters' business in Asia.
