HWL Ebsworth has poached Macpherson + Kelley's Michael Mammen to the firm's Melbourne property team as a partner.

Mammen, who gained seven years of experience in property law with M + K, has expertise in residential, commercial and mixed use developments; ownership and development structuring; subdivisions; property acquisitions and disposals; owners corporation matters and leasing.

HWL Ebsworth managing partner Juan Martinez commended Mammen on his "loyal relationships in all areas of the property sector".

Mammen was a finalist in the 2011 Urban Development Institute of Australia Young Professional of the Year award
