Buoyancy keeps cash boat afloat

Joe-Muraca

King & Wood Mallesons has advised Templeton Global Growth Fund Limited (TGG) on its capital-raising activities.

Deal: TGG has made a one-for-four pro-rata, renounceable entitlement offer (with entitlements trading) of new TGG shares at an offer price of $1.30, to raise up to $64.7 million.

Value: $64.7 million

Area: Corporate

Key players: The KWM team was led by partner Joe Muraca (pictured), supported by David Bryant, Emma Newnham and Antony Freeman. The sponsoring broker was Evans and Partners Pty Ltd.

Deal significance: Commenting on the deal, Mr Muraca said, “We’re very pleased to have been able to support TGG on this capital raising. Reflecting the current buoyancy in the LIC sector, this is the second capital raising we have supported TGG on in the past 18 months."
