Continuing its steady push into the Asia-Pacific region, Allens Arthur Robinson has officially opened the new offices for its network member firm in Jakarta, Widyawan & Partners.

Attending the opening was the Australian ambassador to Indonesia Bill Framer; Allens's chief executive partner Michael Rose; Allens's executive partner, Asia, Jim Dunstan; Widyawan senior partner Widyawan and other staff and clients from the firm.

Over the past few years, Allens has been proactive in its movement into the region. Investments have included the acquisition of the former DLA Phillips Fox Vietnam practice, the launch of a locally licensed intellectual property business in China, and the establishment of a joint law venture with TSMP Law Corporation in Singapore.

The firm now has a total of 11 offices across Asia.
