As part of its digital expansion, arch.law has deployed Legl’s AML and business operations platform across its Australian collaboration hubs in Brisbane, Newcastle, Perth, and Sydney.

With this move, the digital law firm becomes the “first international legal business” to deploy Legl’s platform in Australia, supporting its lawyers and clients across the multiple jurisdictions it serves.

In a statement, the UK-based firm expressed that the partnership with Legl demonstrates its commitment to building a “modern, scalable, and secure platform worldwide” that empowers its lawyers and improves the client experience.

Andrew Leaitherland, CEO and founder of arch.law, stated that the expanded partnership reflects the firm’s commitment to meeting the expectations of forward-thinking clients while supporting its plans to grow internationally.

“Our forward-thinking clients expect the highest standards of compliance and security with a seamless, modern experience when they engage with us,” Leaitherland said.

“By expanding our partnership with Legl into Australia, we are strengthening our digital risk and compliance capability, which is a key priority as we scale up from our existing footprint in the UK, Australia and Canada.”

Leaitherland also explained that rolling out this technology will help automate routine tasks, allowing lawyers to dedicate more time to delivering higher-quality services while enjoying greater flexibility.

“Legl’s technology enables our top-tier professionals to focus on delivering high-quality services while the behind-the-scenes processes are managed seamlessly,” Leaitherland said.

“This also supports our unique distributed model, which empowers our teams to work flexibly while giving clients access to deep expertise enabled by leading technology and a collaborative global platform.”

The digital law firm explained that rolling out Legl’s technology in Australia is a key part of its broader vision to create a “scalable future-ready legal business” that harnesses advanced technology to “deliver secure, compliant, and efficient services”.

Julia Salasky, CEO and founder of Legl, praised arch.law for its leadership in adopting digital-first legal operations and strategically leveraging technology to support growth and scalability.

“Arch.law is a pioneering firm that understands the value of digital transformation in building scalable, future-proof legal providers. By deploying Legl across both the UK and Australia, arch.law is setting a precedent for international law firms to embrace technology as a strategic growth enabler,” Salasky said.

“We are proud to partner with arch.law as they lead the way in creating a new model for how law firms operate globally.”
