As organisations accelerate their adoption of AI, Luminance has launched a Customer Advisory Board (the board), bringing together senior leaders from global organisations to drive conversations around the future of enterprise AI and contract intelligence.

The invitation-only forum brings together executives across legal, operations, procurement, finance and business leadership roles to exchange insights on the opportunities, challenges, and strategic considerations surrounding AI transformation, governance, and adoption at scale.

Founding members of the Customer Advisory Board include senior leaders from organisations such as BBC Studios, Ingram Micro, Slaughter and May, Staples Canada, and Imerys, as well as Lord Ian Burnett of Maldon, the former Lord Chief Justice.

Luminance said the board will serve as a collaborative forum where leaders can share knowledge and navigate what it describes as “one of the most significant technology shifts facing organisations today”.

Members of the forum will participate in a mix of virtual and in-person sessions, where they will explore emerging AI trends, exchange real-world insights, and tackle the practical challenges of implementing AI across complex organisations.

They will also have the opportunity to engage directly with Luminance’s leadership team, contributing to discussions on the company’s long-term strategy and the continued evolution of its AI-powered contract intelligence platform.

The board’s launch comes as organisations increasingly move beyond AI experimentation and towards enterprise-wide deployment, creating new challenges around governance, trust and implementation.

Through the forum, members will share insights on this transformation while helping ensure customer perspectives continue to inform Luminance’s strategy as the enterprise AI landscape rapidly evolves.

As AI evolves from a purely technological tool into a boardroom priority, Luminance CEO Eleanor Lightbody said the company was inspired to establish the board to unite senior executives in navigating the complex challenges shaping the future of enterprise AI and contract intelligence.

“AI is no longer simply a technology discussion. It has become a leadership discussion,” Lightbody said.

“Across every industry, leaders are grappling with questions around adoption, governance, trust, and transformation.

“We established the Customer Advisory Board to bring together a diverse group of senior leaders who are navigating these challenges in real time and to create a forum for meaningful discussion around the future of enterprise AI and contract intelligence.”

The announcement comes as Luminance also expands its Australian footprint, with Bulla Dairy Foods adopting the AI platform to streamline contract negotiations, improve visibility across agreements and boost efficiency across its legal and procurement teams.

Omid Komeili, senior legal counsel at Bulla Dairy Foods, said the company implemented the platform as it sought a smarter, more scalable way to manage a growing volume of routine contracts while significantly reducing the time spent drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements.

“Luminance stood out for its ability to understand our contracts and support high-quality negotiations at speed,” Komeili said.

“It gives us far greater visibility across our agreements while helping our teams work more efficiently day-to-day.”
