Global legal AI platform Harvey has deepened its relationship with Microsoft, as the tech giant prepares to use the platform across its corporate, external, and legal affairs operations.
Global tech giant Microsoft is set to implement Harvey across its corporate, external, and legal affairs (CELA) operations, expanding its collaboration with the global legal AI platform.
The adoption will see Harvey bring advanced AI capabilities into Microsoft’s legal and compliance operations, helping teams streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
The announcement marks the latest step in the organisations’ ongoing relationship, which has already seen Microsoft integrate its products into Harvey’s platform for customers and prospective clients.
Harvey chief executive officer Winston Weinberg said the expanded relationship builds on the longstanding ties between the two organisations, while reflecting the increasingly important role Microsoft’s technology plays in legal work.
“Microsoft’s products are foundational to the work lawyers do, so we have always been grateful for our deep relationship with their team,” Weinberg said.
“Today’s announcement that Microsoft’s legal team will use Harvey’s platform and that Harvey associates will use more Microsoft products to support our global growth represents the next step in our ongoing relationship with their team, and we look forward to building on it.”
As part of the expanded arrangement, Harvey will also broaden its internal use of Microsoft products, including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
The global legal AI platform said the move will allow its teams to work with technology already familiar to many of its enterprise customers, while supporting areas including collaboration, product development, and customer operations.
Antony Cook, corporate vice president and deputy general counsel at Microsoft, said the collaboration forms part of the company’s broader push to bring AI further into its operations, helping its teams work more efficiently while allowing them to focus on complex, high-impact legal work.
“We’re pleased to expand our work with Harvey as part of our broader efforts to bring the benefits of AI into our operations,” Cook said.
“This collaboration will help our teams work more efficiently and focus on the complex, high-impact work that matters most.”
