Collaborative AI platform Legora has strengthened its fact-finding capabilities with the acquisition of UK-based AI platform Wexler, marking its fifth acquisition of 2026.
Legora has acquired London-based fact intelligence platform Wexler, bolstering its collaborative AI platform with advanced technology designed to uncover, verify, and analyse facts across vast and complex document sets.
The deal marks Legora’s fifth acquisition of 2026, following its purchases of Cadastral, Graceview, Qura, and Walter AI.
Wexler is trusted by some of the world’s leading litigation and disputes teams at global law firms, including Clifford Chance, Goodwin, and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, as well as legal and compliance teams across major multinational organisations.
Under the acquisition, Wexler’s 18-person engineering team will form the foundation of Legora’s new London engineering hub, while the company’s technology will be integrated into Legora’s agentic operating system, further strengthening its AI capabilities.
Designed to navigate vast volumes of unstructured documents, the platform extracts, verifies and analyses factual information, enabling users to pinpoint specific, verifiable events – including who said or did what, when it happened, and why it matters to a case.
Rather than generating broad summaries, the system is built around source-traceable facts, allowing legal teams to verify the origin of every insight while analysing more than 1 million documents within a single matter.
Legora chief executive officer and co-founder Max Junestrand said the deal marks a significant step in the company’s mission to reinvent one of legal work’s most time-consuming and expensive tasks – finding and verifying facts – as agentic AI drives unprecedented demand for large-scale factual analysis.
“Every dispute and every investigation comes down to the facts, and finding them is often the most manual and expensive part of legal work,” Junestrand said.
“As agentic systems take on more of that work, fact queries won’t just grow, they’ll multiply by orders of magnitude. Wexler is the infrastructure built to handle that scale today.”
Following the acquisition, Wexler’s technology will be integrated into Legora’s platform as a foundational “fact layer” underpinning its agentic workflows.
The integration will enable litigation teams to build comprehensive case intelligence, including fact chronologies and evidentiary records, without leaving a matter workspace.
It will also allow corporate legal teams to analyse contracts and communication archives to identify potential factual exposure before it escalates into a legal claim.
Wexler CEO and co-founder Gregory Mostyn said joining Legora will equip litigators, investigators and in-house legal teams with more powerful tools to navigate increasingly complex disputes by streamlining the process of building the factual foundation of a case.
