THERE was Erin Brockovich the movie, and now there is Erin Brockovich the ad.

Brockovich, the lawyer who inspired a movie about a David and Goliath legal case, starring Julia Roberts, has teamed up with Brisbane-based Shine lawyers as their advertising figurehead.

 
 

But this is not just a means for Brockovich to make some money via advertising dollars. The famous lawyer activist and Shine lawyers have teamed up to unearth a swag of environmental disasters in this country.

Brockovich announced in August that she would spend several weeks of the year in Queensland to raise the profile of local environmental cases.
