National law firm expands family law practice

A national law firm has announced that it has bolstered its Sydney-based family law team.

Barry.Nilsson. has welcomed Christine Kelly to the firm as a part-time consultant, bringing with her more than 30 years' experience in family law. 

Ms Kelly joins Barry.Nilsson. from Reid Family Lawyers, where she worked as a consultant. Prior to this she held a partner position with Barkus Doolan Kelly.

In welcoming Ms Kelly to the firm, Barry.Nilsson. managing director Don Leembruggen praised her talent, noting she will be an asset to the family law practice.

“We particularly liked Christine’s strong experience in complex financial cases as well her experience in mediation and parenting matters,” said Mr Leembruggen.

“We are very pleased to welcome Christine to the firm and appreciate the wealth of knowledge and local connections that she brings.”

Ms Kelly said she was delighted to be joining Barry.Nilsson.

“Having known a number of members of their family law team I have always respected and admired their commitment to their clients and the quality of their representation," she added.

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.

Throughout her time at Momentum, she has been responsible for breaking some of the biggest stories in corporate Australia. In addition, she has produced exclusive multimedia and event content related to the company's respective brands and audiences. 

Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.

She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
