42 promotions as Shine celebrates the new year

Shine Lawyers has kick-started the new year by promoting 42 staff members, with seven of those appointed to special counsel positions within the firm.

The compensation specialist firm, with offices located in Queensland, NSW, Victoria and Western Australia, said all appointments effective today as operations return to normal after the festive season break.

The new special counsels are Craig Oliver, Rebecca Ballantyne, Charlotte Evans for Queensland personal injury, Chris Sutton and Soren Bakic for personal injury in NSW, Laura Angel for Western Australia’s personal injury team, and Thomas Bradley taking up the special counsel position for personal injury in Victoria.

A number of lawyers have also been promoted to senior associate positions.

Queensland’s personal injury team has seen Joel Blane, Emily Lucas, Martha King, Bree Smith, Ann Meakins, Susan Gandini, Tiffany Marsh, Sarah Grace, and Stephanie McConochie appointed as senior associates.

Shine Lawyers’ class actions team has seen four appointed as senior associates: Bridget Cook, Sarah Thomson, Tristan Gaven, and Hadi Boustani.

Simon Perrein, Evelina Giusti, and Cara Jones received their promotions within the NSW personal injury team, while Victoria’s office saw Sarsha Lauterbach, Cameron Tout, and Sha Hotchin becoming senior associates.

Senior associate status has also been bestowed upon super and disability insurance law’s Chris Khoudair, and the energy team’s Rory Ross.
