Hamilton Locke adds to property practice
The corporate and commercial law firm has appointed a new special counsel who joins its property team.
Hamilton Locke has welcomed Edwina Renshaw to the practice, where she will be based in the firm’s Sydney office. Her appointment brings the firm’s total staff to 68, including 22 partners.

Ms Renshaw joins Hamilton Locke from Clayton Utz, where she held a position within the real estate team for 11 years.
Throughout her career, Ms Renshaw has specialised in commercial, industrial, retail and residential property law, and has a particular interest in large transactional property matters, development and state infrastructure projects.
“She regularly advises high-profile private sector and government clients on a full range of real property matters including contracts for acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, agreements for lease, leases, leasebacks, licences and the creation of easements and covenants,” a statement from Hamilton Locke said.
“In addition, Edwina also acts for a number of charitable organisations on a pro bono basis.”
Commenting further, Hamilton Locke’s managing partner, Nick Humphrey, said: “We are delighted to welcome Edwina to the firm to further increase our property offering. She brings a wealth of experience, and we are excited to offer her expertise to our clients”.
