SYDNEY LAWYER Tristan Gilbertson has been appointed group general counsel of Telecom New Zealand.

 
 

In his Auckland-based role at New Zealand’s largest communications operator, Gilbertson will lead a team of more than 120 staff, covering legal affairs, corporate governance, risk management, regulatory affairs, government relations and corporate communications.

He is a highly experienced lawyer, specialising in telecommunications law and regulation, and has held senior leadership roles in Australia, England and Japan.
