TRANS-TASMAN FIRM Duncan Cotterill is continuing to build its Australian presence, having recently appointed Neil Scott as a partner in its Sydney office.

Scott’s past experience includes working for almost 10 years at Middletons Moore & Bevins, before spending several years working in investment banking and in a family retail business. He established his own commercial law firm, Neil Scott Lawyers, in 1999.

In addition, Scott has been a director of a number of publically-listed and private companies, is a past chairman of the Australia-New Zealand Business Council, and is a past committee member of the NSW branch of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia.

We're evolving — and so should your insights. Heads up — Lawyers Weekly is going premium from 1 May for just $5 a month. Stay informed without missing a beat. More information coming soon.
