Mendis, who was previously at Mallesons Stephen Jaques, has considerable experience working with the mining industry, and his appointment will bolster the firm’s capacity in the resources sector. Mendis will work with partner Liz Allnutt and Shaun McRobert, who heads up the firm’s Perth corporate and commercial team.
