JOANNE PARISI, solicitor at Queensland firm MacDonnells Law, has been elected as the new president of the Far North Queensland Law Association (FNQLA). FNQLA is a body of around 100 local lawyers, barristers and students, which represents the profession in the region and assists the community through fundraising and donations. Parisi takes over the presidency from Nerida Wilson, who served in the role for three years.
