SYDNEY AND Melbourne-based firm, Arnold Bloch Leibler, has appointed Andrew Silberberg as a partner in its Sydney commercial and corporate team.

 
 

Silberberg joins the firm with more than 10 years’ experience both in Australia and internationally. He specialises in commercial matters but also has considerable experience advising in relation to commercial disputes.

Most recently, he worked for five years at Freehills, including spending more than a year on secondment at a major Australian company heading up the legal department on of a key division and advising on several strategic deals.

Previously, he worked for four years at Clifford Chance in the UK where he provided commercial advice to governments and multinational corporations acting in cross-border disputes, and later at London-based firm Tite & Lewis, where he headed up the firm’s international public affairs group.
