Deal significance: The Bentleigh Club is located in Melbourne’s inner-southeast and has been owned by the Melbourne Football Club since 2011.
Under Metro Property Development’s acquisition, the venue will be closed and the land, covering 33 Yawla Street and 32-46 Huntley Road in Bentleigh, will be redeveloped for residential use, a statement from Maddocks confirmed.
“We highly value the relationship we have with Metro Property Developments and are proud to be assisting David Steele and Luke Hartman on another strategic Melbourne acquisition,” lead partner Bettina Sheeran said.
