Attwood Marshall appoints new partner
Following the national firm’s 75th anniversary, Attwood Marshall has appointed a new commercial litigation partner.
After being established in Tweed Heads in 1946, Attwood Marshall Lawyers now has over 60 staff, with offices across Sydney, Queensland, and Melbourne.
Mr Lethbridge has over a decade of legal experience and has practised in both NSW and Queensland. He has significant experience within the corporate and commercial litigation space, including contractual disputes, professional negligence actions, insolvency and bankruptcy matters, debt recovery, property and building-related disputes, and defamation law.
In addition, a number of partners at the firm have also celebrated anniversaries in 2021: Jeff Garrett, legal practice director, celebrated his 40th anniversary with the firm; Angela Harry, wills and estates partner, celebrated her 15th anniversary with the firm; property and commercial partner Barry van Heerden celebrated his 15th year anniversary with the firm; and compensation law partner Jeremy Roche celebrated his 12th anniversary with the firm.
Mr Garrett said that the firm had put a focus on internal management and client relationships as it continued to expand.
“We have taken the steps needed to transform our practice and ensure our quality of work and communication efforts are industry-leading.
“Our clients are at the centre of everything we do here at Attwood Marshall Lawyers. We understand that when someone needs a lawyer, they are often at a point in their life where something has gone wrong, and they are faced with one of life’s most stressful events.
“The best way forward is to have someone who understands how to help you navigate your unique legal challenges, support you throughout the process, and communicate with you clearly to give you confidence and peace of mind until you reach a resolution.”
