AN EX-TOP-tier partner has joined Johnson Winter & Slattery in the same role in its Sydney office.

Corporate finance lawyer Shelley Hemmings previously worked for Blake Dawson Waldron. She is recognised as a leading corporate and transactional lawyer specialising in structured financial products and funds management, principally within the financial services sector.

Hemmings’ experience extends from corporate advisory work in general to a range of securities issues covering shares, debentures, trust and other managed investment scheme interests.

“Having [Hemmings] join our firm broadens the range of skills within our corporate team and enhances our offering to clients within the financial services sector,” managing partner Peter Slattery, said.

“[Her] arrival reflects our commitment to the disciplined growth of the national practice at JWS, in those areas that are central to our clients’ strategic requirements.”
