Deal: Maddocks has advised Australian private equity group Navis Capital Partners on the acquisition of a controlling stake of Software Combined.

Key players: The team was led by partner Andrew McNee and lawyers Lydia May, Eddy Goldsmith, Fumi Baughan, Jennifer Chen and Sarah Himmelhoch.

Deal significance: Software Combined is an Australian company that acquires and combines software companies. Navis Capital’s acquisition will mean that it will fund further acquisitions of software companies to create a software roll-up.

In addition to the acquisition, Navis Capital also funded the acquisition of three of Software Combined’s targets.
